The protection of your personal data is of great importance to Deutsche Telekom Services Europe SE. It is important to us that we always inform you about what personal data we collect, how this data is used, and how you can influence the process.

Which data is collected, how is it used, and how long is it stored?

When using the Shares2You website, hereinafter referred to as the "online service," you will receive relevant information, requests, and offers for the Shares2You employee share program. The purpose of the portal is to give employees the option to register for the Shares2You program.
Your access data and the personal or personally-identifiable data which you need to register for the Shares2You program, e.g., first name, last name, ZIP code, and date of birth, will be processed. Your data will only be stored for the duration of the registration phase of the Shares2You program. All data on the site will be erased after this point. 
 

Technical features

If you use our online service, our server will temporarily store the domain name or IP address of your device, as well as certain data, such as the content called up or the answer code.

The recorded data is used solely for data security purposes, particularly to protect against attempted attacks on our web server (Article 6 (1) f GDPR). We do not use it to create individual user profiles nor do we share this information with third parties. It is erased after 7 days at the latest. We reserve the right to statistically analyze anonymized data records.

We only employ technical cookies for the use of our site. These are small text files that are stored on your computer.
These cookies are required to enable you to navigate through the website's pages and use key functions. They support basic functions and access to secured areas of the website. The legal basis for these cookies is Article 6 (1) b GDPR and, for third-countries, Article 49 (1) b GDPR.

What are my rights as a user?

You have the right 

a) To request information on the categories of processed data, purposes of processing, any recipients of the data, the planned duration of storage (Article 15 GDPR);  

b) To request that incorrect or incomplete data be rectified or supplemented (Article 16 GDPR);

c) To withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR); 

d) To object to the processing of data on the grounds of legitimate interests, for reasons relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 (1) GDPR); 

e) To request the erasure of data in certain cases under Art. 17 GDPR – especially if the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or is unlawfully processed, or you withdraw your consent according to (c) above or object according to (d) above;  

f) To demand, under certain circumstances, the restriction of data where erasure is not possible or the erasure obligation is disputed (Art. 18 GDPR);

g) To data portability, i.e., you can receive your data that you provided to us, in a commonly used and machine-readable format such as CSV, and can, where necessary, transfer the data to others (Article 20 GDPR); 

h) To file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority regarding data processing (for telecommunications contracts: the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Bundesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit); for any other matters: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen)).

Who does Deutsche Telekom pass my data on to?

It is passed on to processors, i.e., companies we commission to process data within the legally defined scope in accordance with Article 28 GDPR (service providers, agents). You will find a list of the processors involved in the next section.
To cooperation partners who independently provide services for you or in conjunction with your Deutsche Telekom contract. This is the case if you order services from these partners through us, if you consent to the involvement of the partner, or if we involve the partner on the basis of legal permission.
Owing to legal obligations: In certain cases, we are legally obliged to transfer certain data to a state authority that requests it.

Where is my data processed?

Germany/Europe

Your data will only be processed in Germany or other European countries. In this case, it will be processed by Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Romania and Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Slovakia s.r.o.

Frankfurt am Main

The HR portal's application server is stored in the AWS cloud (Amazon Web Services cloud) in Frankfurt am Main, while the databases are stored in Biere.
If you register for the shares program via the website, the data required for this process will be passed on to these partners:

The registered office of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG is in Frankfurt am Main. Its data centers are located in Düsseldorf (primary) and in Leverkusen (backup).
The registered office of Equatex AG is in Zürich, Switzerland. It has its primary data center with Swisscom in Bern, Switzerland. Its secondary data center is located in Ittigen, Switzerland (Swisscom Businesspark, Ittigen).
